I’m considering this the official start date of the Tupto blog. I say the start date instead of launch because to me launch implies it is complete (not that a blog is ever complete or finished). What I mean is that if I don’t get started already I never will.

I am using Wordpress with Anthony Bagett’s Networker 1.0 theme. I develop everything locally first using  xampp and a local install of Wordpress.

I’ve spent many hours (because I have no idea what I am doing, and everything has to be just right) and I have gone through many themes before I was even remotely satisfied with the results. 

I really want a custom glossary, but could never get the IMM-Glossary plugin, or any other for that matter, to work.  I think if I would stop trying to hurry up and actually learn how everything works I’d be much better off and I would probably waste a lot less time. For Example, I work on everything locally first, right? Well, one day I spent practically the entire day trying to get something to work and when I finally got it all worked out I had very little to change and upload onto my live blog.

I am a firm believer in revise, revise, revise when it comes to writing, so this will be interesting. I know one day I’ll look back on some of these early posts and say, “What was I thinking”?
