I was at lunch at a local Italian joint with a bunch of co-workers the other day when two staunch republicans start talking about politics. This probably wasn’t a very good idea on their part, among many other bad ideas they tend to have. Anyway, one of them starts talking and here is how it went:
Dumb ass: “Remember how the democrats insisted banks loan to minorities? Loaning to minorities is what has caused the current financial crises.”
Me: [stunned] “What”?
Me: [turning to the guy sitting next to me] “Did he just say what I think he said”?
The guy sitting next to me: “Yes.”
Me: “He did not just say what I think he said, did he”?
The guy sitting next to me: “That’s what I heard.”
The guy sitting next to me: “I think we need to change the subject.”

Maybe because it goes back to an earlier post of why McCain picked Palin over two other more experienced republican female governors - her looks. Men think with their penises and it is just another dumbass reason, or should I say excuse, people come up with to vote for somebody. Like these actual reason I’ve heard people use:
* I am voting for McCain because he’s republican
* I am voting for McCain because I think Palin is hot
* I am voting for McCain and Pailin because she is from Alaska
* I am voting for McCain and Palin because she is a mom
* I am voting for McCain and Palin because she kept a retarded baby
* I am voting for McCain and Palin because Palin is pro-life
These “reasons” are no better than the following made up (at least I think they are made up, I haven’t heard anybody say these yet) reasons:
* I am voting for McCain because he has white hair
* I am voting for McCain because I like Budweiser (for you staunch republicans this means Cindy is an heir to an Anheuser-Busch distributorship. I figured your so stupid you would need an explanation)
* I am voting for McCain because I saw him on TV last Thursday and it was my birthday
* I am voting for McCain because he wears the same shoes as me
* I am voting for McCain because Palin’s husband is a union member
* I am voting for McCain because Palin has a pregnant teenage daughter and so do I
I hear more republicans say they are voting for somebody solely on the basis that they are republican, or some other dumbass excuse and nothing else. It is usually something really stupid, can easily be refuted and makes no logical sense whatsoever. I also hear them say, “You democrats.” OK stupid I may give every indication that I am a democrat, but I am a registered republican. This does not mean I find one thing I like, or dislike about somebody and go with it. I think there should be a little more thought put behind a decision on who we are going to vote for the next president especially since the last one fucked things up so bad.
Another thing I notice about many McCain supporters is that they are usually uneducated rednecks.
The title to this post came from CNN. If you look at the photo along with this CNN article you will also notice they are a bunch of pathetic losers probably don’t even know what a vagina looks like.

Hillary is not the democratic presidential nominee. It’s over, for now, get over it. Threatening to vote fro McCain isn’t going to do you or anybody else (except McCain) any good.
Hillary supporters need to get over the fact that it is over for Hillary and be mature about it. She is not the nominee and she has not been chosen for VP. A mistake, maybe, but it is what it is. Stop acting like a five year old throwing a fit because he didn’t get what he wanted. Besides you think Hillary will be voting for McCain? I doubt it.
The way Hillary supporters are acting reminds me of a guy I work with, a staunch republican who is voting for McCain just for that reason, he is a republican. I mean if the republicans had Charles Manson running for president he would still vote for him based solely on the fact that he is republican. Doesn’t make any sense does it? Well, neither is what staunch Hillary supporters are doing.

Maybe not one of those days where everything goes wrong, or is generally bad, just one of those something isn’t quite right days. First I wake up not wanting to get out of bed, have every intention of going into the office, but not feeling quite right, so I figure I will hop in the shower and get started working from home. Then I see how much work has come in over the weekend, and still not feeling quite right, I get something to eat hoping it will help. I almost choked to death on it and it gave me a sore throat. I said screw it and sent in a Working From Home (WFH) message. Though the WFH message didn’t say WFH it was another acronym that I was apparently being teased about all day and didn’t realize it until much later.
Later in the day I figure the only way I am going to get out of my funk is to force it out, so I went with daughter to take the dogs to run around the school. When we got over to the school I stared itching what I thought was the tag on the back of my shorts was actually the tie string that is supposed to be on the front of the shorts. I said to myself, “why is that back there, are my shorts on backwards”? A check for the tag indeed indicated that my shorts were in fact on backwards. Then I realize my t-shirt doesn’t feel quite right so I check for the tag and sure enough it is in front. I have both my bottom and my top on backwards.
