Customer service

I get this letter last Friday from my prescription management company my employer uses. Very generic letter and doesn’t say what it is for, but that I need to call them right away. So I called them at 10:00 AM this morning.

Apparently that was too late. I told her don’t even know why you sent me the letter that I just got, so whatever. She tried to give me the customer service number, but I told her not to worry about it and I hung up.

I was already perturbed about the retard who shut down the interstate this morning and the fact that they sent me a generic letter asking me to call them right away perturbed me even more. Now I have to go out of my way to call them about personal health care information at work because their hours are very limited. I do not talk about personal stuff at work and it is a hassle trying to find a private place to make phone calls nobody has any business hearing.

I put two and two together and realize that husband called the doctor for a 90-day prescription and they had to fax it to the management company. I guess I was just supposed to assume the prescription management company was just going to place an order on my behalf.

I do understand that the letter was generic due to HIPAA, but if it was that important they should have called; although, they shouldn’t have assumed and placed an order, they should have waited for me to do so when I actually needed it and placed it myself.

I will say one thing though; I think they submit FSA claims automatically for me for prescriptions which is pretty sweet. So I guess I will forgive them this time.

Lately I think I need and anti-crabby prescription.

    Hello.

I would like to put a link to your site on my blog roll if you want to do the same for mine. It would be a good way to build up both of our readerships.

    thank you.
