I heard people bitching about the lack of experience of Obama, I mean these people going on and on. Fast forward a few weeks, and now what am I hearing these same people talk about experience? “Oh experience doesn’t matter as long as you have people.” Hrm, let me think, weren’t you the same person who tore Obama a new asshole because he had no experience? Yes, you were, but you must have forgotten, kinda like McCain does.

Obama has been a state senator from 1997, and a US senator since 2004. Palin’s political career began at the city level in 1992 and didn’t get to a state level until 2006. If you read her bio it reads like a small Podunk town - everybody knows everybody else and everybody is somehow related. Her background reads more like Deliverance than a would be VP of the US.

Do I think Obama is inexperienced, yes, do I think Palin is even more inexperienced, yes. Obama seems more presidential material to me and will represent this country well, and will have the ability to gain respect of the global community. Palin, I am not so sure about yet. Yeah she’s only VP, but the likelihood of McCain “kicking the bucket” during his term is great. Her experience is at a state, a very small state, level only. From what I can tell so far she has done well, despite the few errors in judgment where she wielded her power to get her way, but what politician hasn’t.

And what about Palin’s celebrity status? She’s on TMZ, People and CNN’s own entertainment site at the time of this writing. I haven’t heard much talk about her celebrity status.

Who knows if it does happen she could surprise everybody, but I think it will be at a great expense to her and an even greater expense to her family. And she needs to stop having kids.
